Salaried GP (ARRS funded)

Please note this role is specifically for newly qualified GPs - within the last two years.

Part Time Salaried GP (ARRS Funded). 2-4 sessions per week, fixed term contract until 31st March 2026.

We provide front-line NHS services in Stockton and surrounding areas, toapproximately 8,000 patients. We aim to make a lasting positive difference tothe quality of care people receive and to support people to be healthier,happier and in control at every stage of their journey.

We are a two small, friendly, independentpractices, highly supportive and understand the importance of a good work/lifebalance with an open-door ethos.

The role is to undertake duties governed by the GMS contract and Objectives of Direct and Local Enhanced Services including:

Face to face and telephone consultations.

Patient Home visits and Nursing Home visits.

Checking and signing repeat prescriptions.

Administration - dealing with queries, patient test results, referral letters NHS/private, task, emails and other paperwork and correspondence in a timely manner.

Cover all the clinical management of the patients in surgery as appropriate including initiating investigations, reviewing results, making referrals to secondary care or to other providers as appropriate.

Develop care and treatment plans in consultation with patients and in line with current Practice disease management protocols as well wider guidance such as that from NICE.

• Qualified GP, MRCGP, Vocational Training Certificate or equivalent JCPTGP and Certificate of Completion of Training - CCT.
• Full GMC registration and Performers List registration noting that confirmation on this list is adequate for DBS confirmation.
• Appropriate defence indemnity, evidence of current validation, evidence of last appraisal and eligibility to practice in the UK independently.
