We are proud to be recruiting on behalf of our client, a renowned international hospitality group known for its Michelin-starred excellence, for the launch of a prestigious Indian fine dining restaurant in Dubai. As preparations are underway for this high-profile opening, we are seeking an accomplished and visionary Restaurant General Manager to lead the project and ongoing operations.
Role SummaryThe Restaurant General Manager will be responsible for overseeing the full scope of the restaurant's operations-both pre- and post-opening. This role requires a dynamic leader with the ability to deliver a world-class dining experience, manage high-performing teams, and uphold the brand's exacting standards of service and quality.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the pre-opening phase, including recruitment, staff training, service planning, and SOP implementation.
- Manage all aspects of daily operations, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and alignment with Michelin-star standards.
- Work closely with the Executive Chef and ownership to create a unified and seamless front- and back-of-house experience.
- Drive financial performance through effective budgeting, cost control, and P&L management.
- Foster a culture of excellence, teamwork, and continuous improvement across all departments.
- Act as the brand ambassador for the restaurant, maintaining high visibility with VIP guests, media, and strategic partners.
- Ensure compliance with local health, safety, and licensing regulations at all times.
- Currently based in Dubai, with legal eligibility to work in the UAE.
- Must have experience in working in Stand alone High Volume Restaurant in DIFC area.
- 8-10+ years of senior management experience in fine dining or Michelin-starred restaurants.
- A stable, progressive career history with demonstrable leadership success.
- Deep expertise in guest experience, fine dining service standards, and team development.
- Strong business acumen with experience in budgeting, reporting, and cost control.
- Passionate about Indian cuisine and hospitality, with an appreciation for cultural authenticity and modern luxury.
