We are looking for Therapeutic Childcare Practitioners to join our dedicated teams in children's residential homes . This role involves working closely with children and young people with emotional and behavioral needs , providing support, structure, and a safe environment to help them grow and develop.

Key Responsibilities
Provide emotional and practical support to children in a residential setting
Implement therapeutic approaches to promote emotional well-being and stability
Assist children with daily routines, education, and social activities
Work as part of a team to create a safe, nurturing, and structured home environment
Maintain accurate records and contribute to individual care plans
Work closely with families, professionals, and external agencies
Support children in developing independent living skills

Requirements
Level 3 NVQ in Residential Childcare (or equivalent) is essential
Previous experience working with children in a residential setting (preferred)
Understanding of safeguarding, trauma-informed care, and child protection
Ability to build positive relationships and provide consistent, structured support
Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins
