Reporting directly to the Finance Director, the Financial Accountant will lead and mentor a small team while managing financial reporting, compliance, and business insights. This role provides exposure to international reporting standards while directly influencing local business success.

• Lead accounts payable, receivable, and bookkeeping functions
• Prepare monthly financial/board reports, budgets, and statutory returns
• Manage year-end reporting, audits, and compliance obligations
• Partner with senior management on cost analysis and investment decisions
• Drive process improvement across financial controls and reporting
• Mentor and support junior finance team members

• CPA (or equivalent) qualification - membership required
• 3-5 years' financial accounting experience
• Strong technical knowledge of reporting and compliance
• Experience with large ERP systems (e.g., SAP)
• Excellent understanding of Australian accounting standards and tax requirements
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail
• Proven leadership and collaborative style
