Training and Advancement

Hunter promotes exclusively from within and therefore makes an investment in each employee in order to ensure a successful career path within the company. For that reason, you will be hired as a Recruiter Trainee and upon successful completion of Hunter's proprietary, competitive training program (usually within 90 days), you will be promoted to a Recruiter position.


As a Recruiter Trainee you will:

  • Receive a combination of classroom-style training and practical application of knowledge and skills.
  • Job shadow recruiters across a range of teams and levels.
  • Establish access and efficiently utilize recruiting tech stack: ATS (applicant tracking system), job boards, cloud-based messaging platforms, automation tools.
  • Develop business acumen in recruiting and sales including Boolean logic, phone screenings, interviews and offer extensions.
  • Create a cadence for workflow and learn to operate independently and as a team member.
  • Sharpen your professional communication and writing skills.
  • Learn how to sell Hunter, yourself, and the jobs you are working on.
  • Be required to successfully complete bi-weekly assessments/check-ins, micro-quizzes and proficiency tests.
  • Be required to consistently meet metrics and key performance indicators (KPIs).

  • Customer or sales focused experience (Preferred)
