Looking for an R&D Tax Consultant or Senior Consultant to join the Perth team. Join a position where you are promoted on merit not tenure, work as a team and are rewarded for your work through the bonus system.
For this position it is essential that candidates have R&D Tax experience and a software tech background.
The RoleWorking alongside R&D Managers and Directors, you'll have the opportunity to lead and execute critical R&D tax projects. Your responsibilities will include:
- Strategic Advisory: Provide expert advice on R&D tax claims and strategy to clients across a variety of industries.
- Project Planning & Execution: Prepare R&D project plans, assess eligible claims, and manage R&D expenditure using cost accounting principles.
- Compliance & Lodgement: Oversee compliance issues, ensuring timely lodgement and accuracy in tax submissions.
- Client Engagement: Work closely with clients to advise on R&D tax matters and ensure the delivery of tailored solutions.
- Team Collaboration: Play a key role in mentoring junior staff and supporting the growth of the practice.

What We're Looking For- Experience: At least 1-4 years of experience in R&D tax, either in a consulting or advisory capacity.
- Education: A degree in Science, Commerce, Technology, or a related field.
- Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the confidence to advise clients on complex R&D tax matters.
- Mindset: A proactive, detail-oriented approach with a passion for delivering innovative solutions to clients.
