Highly successful radiology practice in the Atlanta, Georgia area is searching for an experienced physician assistant or nurse practitioner to join their team! This is a fantastic opportunity for growth in one of the most popular specialties for APPs. Candidates must have experience as a PA or NP in interventional radiology or another related field to be considered for this position, and must have at least 1-2 years of experience performing IR-related procedures.
Responsibilities:
- Full-time position - Interventional Radiology
- Flexible schedule - 4 or 5 days per week with daytime hours
- No weekends, no evenings, no call, no holidays
- Collaborate with a fantastic team of PA providers and board-certified radiologists
- Perform procedures such as thoracentesis, paracentesis, placement and removal of PICC lines, tunneled catheters and ports, CT guided biopsies, ultrasound-guided biopsies, and more
- Obtain comprehensive health histories and perform complete physical examinations during hospitalization
- Develop patient treatment plans and educate patients about discharge care
- Communicate patient status information, attend daily rounds, and document progress in the electronic medical record
Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain Georgia Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner License
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Exceptional clinical and procedural skills
- Proficient with EMR systems
