Quantity Surveyor

£60,000-£65,000 & Car Allowance
I am working with a well-known construction management company to recruit an experienced Quantity Surveyor to join a new site in a beautiful location in North Devon on a large £10M residential scheme including apartments & flats.
They would like this person in place by the end of September.
Reporting directly to the Senior Management Team, your responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing the measurement and preparation of valuations
- Prepare and agree interim valuations and final accounts
- Managing financial accounts and report to Senior Management on the project performance
- Secure payments from customers within the specified contract terms
- Subcontract packages and management of subcontractor accounts
- Pre-contract pricing and agreement project costs
Requirements:
- Educated to degree level in Quantity Surveying, although other equivalent qualifications may be accepted such as HNC/HND if backed up with extensive work experience.
- Member of a relevant professional body.
- Experience working on general Civil Engineering projects.
- Good negotiation skills and commercial awareness.
- IT skills specifically on spreadsheets, databases and the ability to adapt to bespoke software packages.
Package:
- Salary £60,000-£65,000 depending on experience
- Car Allowance
