QA/QC Engineer - Infrastructure

Parsons is seeking a dedicated QA/QC Engineer to join our Construction Supervision (CS) team for a prestigious infrastructure project in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will be passionate about quality and excellence, possess a keen eye for detail, and have a proactive approach to problem solving. This role requires collaboration with diverse teams to uphold our high standards of quality and safety.

• Develop and implement QA/QC plans, procedures, and protocols for construction projects.
• Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with project specifications and standards.
• Review and approve materials, equipment, and workmanship to meet quality requirements.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to resolve quality issues.
• Prepare and maintain comprehensive documentation of QA/QC activities, including reports and records.
• Monitor and report on the performance of the QA/QC system, identifying areas for improvement.
• Ensure adherence to safety standards and regulations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Provide training and guidance to project teams on QA/QC best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of extensive experience in QA/QC roles, preferably in large scale infrastructure projects including roads and bridges.
• Strong knowledge of construction materials, methods, and standards.
• Proficiency in QA/QC software and tools.
• Excellent analytical, problem solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast paced, collaborative environment.
• Certification in QA/QC or related fields is preferred.

• Strong analytic capabilities and the ability to work independently.
• Good oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to communicate logically and clearly with management and staff.
• Ability to handle the physical aspects of required field work.
