Job Description 
The successful candidate will be responsible for leading procurement activities on-site, which includes managing both materials and services. Key responsibilities include :
- Establishing and maintaining a network of suppliers for spares, tools, consumables, and services.
- Negotiating contracts and agreements for materials and services.
- Regularly following up with suppliers to address material deliveries, services, claims, and complaints.
- Tracking and reporting on supplier performance.
- Collaborating with the Operations and Maintenance (O&M) team to identify at least two qualified suppliers for each material / service.
- Working with the O&M team to identify and establish preferred suppliers.
- Continuously striving to reduce lead times and streamline work processes.
- Monitoring and reporting on material and service purchases on a monthly and yearly basis.
- High school or technical diploma in any discipline.
- Certification in material management or procurement.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a purchaser, experience in O & M is highly preferred.
- Proficiency in CMMS, Outlook, and Excel.
