Role Description:We are seeking security cleared Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Practitioners to join our team on a permanent basis. You will provide ILS support and coordinate all ILS related activities to support a sovereign technology program delivering critical capability to Defence.
Day to day responsibilities include conducting Front End Logistics Support Analysis (FELSA) - the early application of LSA to influence system design and embed supportability requirements - reviewing and moderating acquisition and support ILS products, developing ILS plans and procedures, liaising between the Commonwealth, international partners and engineering/ILS staff, and ensuring logistics activities across industry and Defence are integrated and compliant.
Essential Requirements:- 3-5 years' experience in Defence ILS or related logistics engineering roles.
- Degree in engineering, logistics, supply chain, or a related discipline; or equivalent Defence industry experience.
- Demonstrated ability to conduct LSA activities including FELSA, LSAR development, and program tailoring.
- Proficiency in LSAR tools, particularly OMEGAPS and OMEGA2B.
- Strong understanding of Defence capability systems lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of the applicability and focus of LSA activities at different lifecycle stages.
- Strong understanding of interfaces between LSA, ILS, and systems engineering.
- Experience reviewing and moderating ILS documentation, including Capability Life Cycle Cost Plans.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to operate in high pressure environments.
- Must hold a minimum NV1 security clearance and be an Australian citizen.
- Background in the ADF or APS Defence environment.
- Knowledge of Defence procurement frameworks, including ASDEFCON.
- Familiarity with Defence and international standards:
- SX000i (ILS)
- S2000M (Materiel Management Data)
- S3000L (LSA)
- S5000F (In service Data Feedback)
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate technical data into actionable insights.
- Skilled in resource coordination, risk assessment, and mitigation.
- Adaptability and willingness to work across varied and complex technical scopes.
