The Opportunity
We're looking for an experienced Construction Project Manager to lead large-scale construction projects valued at $25M+. This is an exciting, high-impact role for a results-driven leader who can guide multidisciplinary teams from pre-construction through completion - ensuring every project is delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead all phases of construction projects, managing scope, schedule, and budget.
- Coordinate teams including site supervisors, subcontractors, consultants, and engineers.
- Oversee budgeting, forecasting, and cost control to ensure financial targets are met.
- Serve as the primary client contact, fostering strong and lasting relationships.
- Identify and mitigate project risks while driving proactive solutions.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards, building codes, and quality requirements.
- Review contracts, change orders, RFIs, and project documentation.
- Apply technical knowledge and carpentry experience to support field execution.
- Promote collaboration, accountability, and performance excellence across teams.
Qualifications
- Degree or diploma in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of project management experience, leading projects valued at $25M+.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, building codes, and delivery methods (GC, CM, Design-Build).
- Solid technical foundation in carpentry and structural execution.
- Proven ability to manage complex budgets, schedules, and stakeholder relationships.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Proficient with project management tools such as Premiere, Fieldwire, or similar.
- Valid driver's license and ability to travel across PEI as needed.
