About the Role

We're looking for an experienced Project Manager (Intermediate) to lead multiple high-priority tenant improvement (TI) and construction-related projects for a major client in the utilities and energy sector.

In this role, you'll oversee project delivery from concept through closeout, ensuring quality, cost, and timelines are met. You'll collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and contractors, managing budgets, schedules, and client expectations in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead multiple projects simultaneously as the main point of contact.
  • Manage third-party vendors and internal teams to deliver on scope, schedule, and budget.
  • Apply project management principles (PMI-based) across all project phases.
  • Develop and review space and furniture plans using AutoCAD.
  • Ensure safety standards and compliance throughout all stages of the project.
  • Provide accurate cost estimates, forecasts, and budget tracking.
  • Prepare and deliver presentations, reports, and project documentation.
  • Negotiate changes to scope, budget, and timeline as required.
  • Support procurement processes (Tenders, RFQs, RFPs).
  • Promote continuous improvement and share lessons learned across teams.
  • Communicate clearly and professionally via Microsoft Teams and in-person meetings.

Qualifications

  • 10+ years of project management experience, preferably within tenant improvement (TI) or construction environments.
  • PMP accreditation is an asset.
  • Strong understanding of PMI-based project lifecycle and construction processes.
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD (required).
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Bluebeam.
  • Proven success managing multiple concurrent projects and leading diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Strong decision-making, problem-solving, and communication skills.
  • Experience managing vendors, consultants, and contractors.
  • Knowledge of furniture systems and commercial interior design programs.
  • Willingness to travel up to 20%.
  • Minimum education: High school diploma (relevant technical or post-secondary education preferred).

Why Join

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to major capital and infrastructure projects within the energy sector while working with an innovative and collaborative team. You'll play a key role in shaping environments that directly impact business operations and employee experience.
