RATESDOTCA is looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Project Manager to lead the execution of multiple customer experience initiatives. This role is central to our mission of delivering best-in-class digital insurance experiences and will work cross-functionally to ensure projects are delivered on time, on scope, and with impact.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive delivery of design and business workstreams in a fast-paced agile environment, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and customer needs.
- Own project timelines, resource planning, and milestone tracking across multiple initiatives to ensure successful execution and delivery.
- Develop project charters and plans, manage change control processes, and facilitate project reviews and lessons-learned sessions.
- Collaborate closely with internal product owners, stakeholders, technology teams, and external partners to translate user stories into clear, actionable delivery plans that drive measurable outcomes.
- Define and manage project scope through detailed scope statements, work breakdown structures, requirements analyses, and scope verification techniques, while maintaining strict scope change controls.
- Develop and maintain project schedules using Gantt charts, network diagrams, and critical path analysis.
- Oversee cost management by preparing estimates and tracking budgets.
- Ensure quality management by implementing quality metrics and statistical methods to monitor and improve deliverables.
- Facilitate working sessions, reviews, and retrospectives to keep teams aligned, and energized.
- Manage people via motivation techniques, empathic listening, and team-building exercises; define roles and responsibilities using RACI matrices and organizational charts.
- Proactively identify risks, maintain risk registers, conduct impact analyses, and implement mitigation strategies to remove blockers and ensure project continuity.
- Administer procurement processes including make-or-buy analyses, contract management, and evaluations using structured selection matrices.
- Champion effective communication by developing communication plans, managing conflict, and providing regular updates and insights to senior leadership and business stakeholders.
- Promote continuous improvement and help scale delivery practices across the organization by identifying opportunities to optimize processes and enhance team performance.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of project management experience in digital, financial services, or consultancy environments. (PMP designation preferred)
- Proven success managing creative and strategic initiatives
- Strong organizational and communication skills with a collaborative, solutions-first mindset.
- Hands-on experience with project management tools like Jira and Confluence.
- Comfort working in Agile and hybrid delivery models.
- Experience in insurance or fintech is a strong asset.
- Confidence leading in a hybrid work environment and adapting to shifting priorities.
