Projects include refurbishments, repairs, remediation, demolition and upgrade projects valued around $10 million.
RESPONSIBILITIES- Manage remediation projects from initial setup through to completion
- Ensure compliance with HSECQ requirements including review and attend Weekly Toolbox talks and daily Prestart meetings
- Ensure effective cost control and efficient running of the project
- Coordinate direct labour and subcontractors
- Project progress reporting and conducting weekly meetings
- Provision of advice on any technical and engineering issues
- Liaise closely with the client ensuring project runs to program
- Involvement with tendering/estimation
- Create and modify ITP's and SWMS
- Raise RFI's and track responses
- Ability to assist on-site with management of systems and process for safe and effective project delivery.
- Adaptability to a live site environment, conflict resolution, and stakeholder liaison responsibilities.
- Conduct weekly subcontractors' meetings ensuring program targets are met.
- May be required to work across multiple projects, including regional NSW subject to division requirements.
- Experience in a similar role, managing construction projects in a contractor environment
- Leadership skills and understanding of leadership responsibilities
- A high level of understanding and appreciation for safety
- Strong commercial acumen
- Solid programming and planning skills
- Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline
- Understanding of current building codes, legislations and Australian Standards.

- Police Clearance due to projects being based on Defence sites
