Job SummaryThe Special Projects Manager - Business Excellence drives organizational excellence through the planning, management, and execution of strategic improvement initiatives. The role leads the development, integration, and continuous improvement of business, quality, and HS&E management systems that align with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 standards.
Key Responsibilities- Lead strategic initiatives and special projects focused on advancing business excellence, process efficiency, and compliance.
- Oversee the design, implementation, and continual improvement of the company's integrated Quality and HS&E Management Systems.
- Ensure alignment of business processes with ISO 9001, ISO 45001, and ISO 14001 requirements, corporate policies, and regulatory standards.
- Develop and maintain business excellence frameworks, policies, and SOPs to support operational consistency and performance.
- Plan, coordinate, and manage internal and external audits, ensuring effective close-out of findings and continual system improvement.
- Champion performance measurement through monitoring and analysis of key quality, safety, and environmental indicators.
- Facilitate root cause analysis and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA) to drive organizational learning and sustainable improvement.
- Provide leadership on ISO compliance, risk management, and process optimization initiatives.
- Conduct training and awareness programs to strengthen quality, HS&E, and business excellence competencies across teams.
- Partner with functional leaders to embed business excellence principles into all strategic and operational activities.
- Promote a culture of excellence, safety, and environmental responsibility across the organization.
- Strong understanding of business excellence frameworks and ISO-based management systems.
- Proven experience leading cross-functional improvement projects and integrated management system implementation.
- Expertise in quality and HS&E tools such as CAPA, risk assessment, FMEA, Lean, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate performance data and identify opportunities for optimization.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and management system software.
- Demonstrated ability to lead change initiatives and build engagement across diverse teams.
- Strategic thinker with a results-driven and solution-oriented mindset.
- Highly organized, analytical, and detail oriented.
- Strong leadership and interpersonal skills with ability to influence at all levels.

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Industrial Management, or related field.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management, business excellence, or HS&E leadership roles.
- Certification as an ISO 9001 Lead Auditor required; ISO 45001 or ISO 14001 certification preferred.
- Additional qualifications in Lean Six Sigma or ASQ certifications are advantageous.
