Project Engineer

Location: Dubai, UAE
Type: Full-Time (site based)

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in developing project execution plans, track deliverables and timelines and coordinate across design, procurement and site teams to ensure project milestones are met.
• Review construction drawings, specifications and submittals; raise RFIs and coordinate design clarifications between consultants, contractors and internal teams.
• Support procurement by reviewing material submittals, tracking long-lead items, and ensuring the timely delivery of materials in coordination with site needs.
• Oversee daily site activities to ensure compliance with approved drawings and method statements; monitor progress, resolve on-site issues and coordinate with site supervisors and subcontractors.
• Ensure all works on site are executed in line with quality standards, safety regulations and project specifications; participate in inspections and snagging activities.
• Monitor project schedules, prepare progress reports, identify delays or risks and recommend corrective actions to project managers and stakeholders.
• Maintain accurate records of project documentation, approvals and correspondence; support in preparing project handover documents, as-built drawings and close-out reports.

Key Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or Architectural Engineering.
• Minimum 4-5 years of project coordination experience in UAE construction or fit-out.
• Proficient in project scheduling and document control systems.
• Experience coordinating with subcontractors, consultants and clients.
• Proficient in English, both written and spoken
• Skilled in MS Office Suite; working knowledge of MS Project and/or Primavera P6.
