LocationAbu Dhabi
Role SummaryWood is seeking an experienced Site Project Control Manager to support the ADNOC Gas Project Management Center (PMC) team in Abu Dhabi. The role is full time, site based and focuses on project controls across the FEED and detailed design phases, ensuring schedule, budget and technical compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and execute project control strategies that support schedule adherence, budget control and technical compliance.
- Collaborate with engineering, procurement, HSE and quality teams to embed project control measures and support milestone achievement.
- Drive risk management and mitigation, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor construction and design progress, cost forecasting and performance reporting to project leadership and stakeholders.
- Maintain accurate recordkeeping of project schedules, cost data, change orders and performance metrics.
- Provide guidance to junior project control staff and contribute to the development of project control procedures and best practices.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant technical or business discipline.
- Minimum 15 years of project control experience, including significant supervisory responsibilities.
- Strong experience in managing contracts, budgeting, cost control, planning, scheduling and change management.
- Knowledge across engineering, procurement and construction execution.
- Experience with project controls tools and systems.
- Preferred: ADNOC, GCC and EPC experience; operating company and service contracting experience.
