Work Program Manager - Level 2 (12-Month Contract)
Contract: 12 months (high likelihood of extension)
Location: Hybrid Burnaby BC
We are seeking a Work Program Manager - Level 2 to lead medium- to high-risk infrastructure or construction projects. The ideal candidate brings strong project leadership experience, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage complex cross-functional teams from planning through successful delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead project planning, execution, reporting, and post-implementation reviews.
- Develop project and risk management plans for infrastructure or construction initiatives up to $50M.
- Oversee quality assurance, engineering, procurement, stakeholder engagement, regulatory approvals, construction management, and safety.
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, and documentation using advanced MS Office and project management tools.
- Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders to support timely project progression.
- Establish and monitor project standards to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency throughout the lifecycle.
Requirements
- 9+ years of project management experience.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics, or related field (Engineering preferred).
- PMP certification preferred.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
