We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Primary Teaching Assistant to join our range of schools in the North Birmingham area. This position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of young learners and contribute to their educational journey. As a Teaching Assistant, you will work closely with our experienced teaching staff, supporting the delivery of high-quality education to primary school students.


  • Collaborate with teachers to assist in planning and delivering engaging lessons that cater to the diverse needs of students.
  • Provide individual and group support to students, both inside and outside the classroom, ensuring their academic progress and emotional well-being.
  • Assist with the implementation of behavior management strategies, promoting a positive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Help create and maintain a stimulating classroom environment, organizing displays and resources to enhance the learning experience.
  • Support students with special educational needs, implementing Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and providing necessary accommodations.
  • Contribute to the assessment and recording of students' progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents as required.
  • Supervise students during breaks, trips, and extracurricular activities, ensuring their safety and fostering a positive school community.


  • Previous experience working in a primary school setting or similar educational environment is desirable.
  • A genuine passion for working with children and supporting their development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Patience, empathy, and the ability to adapt to the individual needs and learning styles of students.
  • Basic understanding of child development and educational practices.
  • Knowledge of behavior management strategies and techniques.
  • A relevant qualification in education or childcare is advantageous. (Ideally a level 2 qualifcation or level 3 TA qualification)
  • Opportunites to gain your level 2 TA qualification with our agency for 30 if chosen for interview.
