A global, multi billion dollar, market leading technology company is hiring a PMO Manager to run the day to day administration of the Project Management Office in Dubai. This is not a Project Manager delivery role - it's a structured, detail driven position focused on governance, reporting, coordination, and ensuring project teams operate smoothly.
What you'll do- Own the PMO operating cadence: weekly/monthly reporting cycles, governance forums, and action tracking.
- Maintain and improve PMO standards: templates, documentation, RAID logs (Risks/Actions/Issues/Decisions), and project controls.
- Produce clear portfolio dashboards (status, milestones, dependencies, resourcing, budget tracking where applicable).
- Ensure initiatives follow agreed processes and stage gates; support audits and compliance requirements.
- Coordinate across stakeholders (Product, Engineering, Operations, Finance, Vendors) to keep information accurate and up to date.
- Manage the project repository: documentation, approvals, change requests, and version control.
- Support resource planning and capacity tracking in partnership with functional leads.
- Drive continuous improvement of PMO tools and ways of working.
- Proven experience in a PMO / project coordination / project controls / portfolio administration role (tech environment preferred).
- Strong administration skills: highly organised, proactive, and comfortable managing multiple workstreams.
- Confident with reporting and data: Excel/Google Sheets, PowerPoint/Slides, and dashboarding.
- Working knowledge of PMO concepts: governance, RAID, stage gates, change control, prioritisation.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication - you can chase updates, remove blockers, and keep people aligned.
- Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, MS Project, Smartsheet, Asana (any).
- Exposure to agile delivery environments (Scrum/Kanban) without needing to be a Scrum Master.
- Basic understanding of budgets, forecasting, and vendor coordination.
