- Coordinate with other engineering disciplines
- Ensure compliance with local codes and health/safety standards
- Develop and maintain accurate 3D BIM models for plumbing systems, ensuring clash detection and efficient space planning for complex projects.
- Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and other disciplines to integrate plumbing designs seamlessly within the overall building model, enhancing project coordination.
- Review shop drawings and submittals from contractors, verifying compliance with design intent and ensuring quality control throughout the construction phase.
- Conduct site visits to observe construction progress, address field issues, and provide technical support to the construction team, ensuring project success.
- Stay current with industry trends, new technologies, and BIM software advancements, continually improving design processes and project outcomes.
