PLC Engineer - Job Summary:

We re supporting our client, a leading Mechanical Engineering company based in Ely, who are looking for a PLC Engineer to join their growing team. The successful PLC Engineer will have experience of PLC Programming, Circuit Control & fault finding.

Responsibilities & About You:

  • PLC software programming
  • Electrical motor selection 3phase
  • Full power and control circuit creation
  • Electric component selection
  • Use of AutoCAD electrical software
  • Use of Eplan software
  • Commission Support and Fault Finding
  • Experience of ISO (phone number removed)


  • SIMATIC S7-1200 & 1500 PLCs


  • Siemens TIA Portal v14 onwards
  • Previous experience of:
  • Ladder Logic (LD)
  • Sequential Function Charts (SFC)
  • Function Block Diagram (FBD)
  • Structured Text (ST)
  • Instruction List (IL)
