Westaffed is seeking a talented and experienced Plastic Surgeon Consultant to join our renowned surgical team. In this essential role, you will provide a wide range of plastic and reconstructive surgical services aimed at enhancing the quality of life for patients through both aesthetic and functional improvements. Your practice will encompass cosmetic procedures, reconstructive surgeries for trauma and congenital anomalies, and techniques that restore form and function after surgery or injury. You will collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care and exceptional outcomes for patients. Responsibilities
  • Conduct detailed assessments of patients and formulate individualized surgical plans based on their needs.
  • Perform a variety of plastic and reconstructive surgeries, including but not limited to breast reconstructions, abdominal aesthetics, and facial surgery.
  • Provide comprehensive preoperative and postoperative care for patients to optimize recovery and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with other physicians and specialists to ensure multidisciplinary approaches to patient management.
  • Stay updated on advancements in plastic surgery and integrate best practices into your clinical care.
  • Engage in educational activities, including mentoring surgical residents and educating patients and their families about procedures and results.
  • Participate in research initiatives that aim to advance the field of plastic surgery and improve patient care.
Requirements
  • Medical degree (MD or equivalent) with completion of an accredited Plastic Surgery residency program.
  • Board certification in Plastic Surgery is required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in plastic and reconstructive surgery practice is preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in a comprehensive range of plastic surgical techniques.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective interaction with patients and team members.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast paced, multidisciplinary clinical environment.
  • Commitment to continuous professional development and excellence in patient care.
