We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Respiratory Care Practitioner to join our healthcare team in Spokane, WA. In this role, you will provide high-quality respiratory care to patients across a variety of clinical settings. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, adaptable, and dedicated to delivering patient-centered care in collaboration with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
Key Responsibilities:Administer therapeutic and diagnostic respiratory care procedures as prescribed by physicians.
Monitor and assess patient responses to therapy and make appropriate recommendations or adjustments.
Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gases and pulmonary function tests.
Operate and maintain respiratory equipment including ventilators, oxygen delivery systems, and aerosol devices.
Provide emergency respiratory support, including airway management and resuscitation efforts.
Educate patients and families on respiratory treatments, equipment usage, and home care as needed.
Document all care provided in the electronic medical record in a timely and accurate manner.
Maintain compliance with hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards.
Required Qualifications:Education:
Completion of coursework or training required to meet certification, licensure, or registration standards for respiratory care practice.
