We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Pulmonary Physician to provide locum tenens services at a VA Medical Center, delivering compassionate, high-quality pulmonary care to those who have selflessly served our nation. This is an opportunity to practice medicine with purpose supporting our nation s heroes while working in a collaborative and respected federal healthcare environment. Position Highlights: Provide direct inpatient and/or outpatient pulmonary care Interpret pulmonary diagnostics including PFTs and imaging Conduct consultations and coordinate care with VA primary and specialty teams Participate in case reviews and clinical documentation in VA's electronic health record (CPRS/VA EHR) Monday Friday schedule (may vary slightly by site); No call or weekends unless specified Requirements: MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school Board Certified or Board Eligible in Pulmonary Disease by ABIM Any current, full, and unrestricted U.S. medical license (State license not limited to location of facility) U.S. Citizenship (required for VA credentialing) Active DEA registration (if required for prescribing at site) Ability to pass federal background check and credentialing process Why Choose VA Locum Tenens Work?
