Pay: $30.00-$50.00/hour

Position Summary:
Provides respiratory therapy services under medical direction, including assessment, treatment, and monitoring of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. Role level (I, II, or III) is determined by experience and certification.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer therapeutic respiratory treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor patient responses and document treatment outcomes.
- Assess and manage life-support and respiratory care equipment.
- Develop care plans and deliver care across the health continuum.
- Participate in interdisciplinary care teams using a family-centered approach.
- Conduct patient education, preventative care, and disease management.
- Stay current on changes in patient conditions and clinical protocols.
- Participate in data collection and staff meetings as needed.
Qualifications by Level:
Level I
- Education: Associate s degree or higher in Respiratory Care
- Experience: 0 3 years
- CRT within 90 days of hire
- RRT within 1 year
- RCP license (state-issued)
- BLS (AHA) at hire; ACLS within 3 months
Level II
- Experience: 3 5 years
- RRT credential
- RCP license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA)
Level III
- Experience: 5+ years
- RRT credential
- RCP license
- BLS and ACLS (AHA)
- Adult Critical Care Specialty (ACCS) certification
Skills & Abilities:
- Proficient in respiratory therapy techniques and equipment operation.
- Strong clinical decision-making based on cardiopulmonary assessment.
- Ability to assess and meet individualized patient needs across age groups.
