Seeking a BC/BE Vascular Neurologist to join an expanding stroke team providing both inpatient and telestroke patient care in eastern North Carolina.

Highlights include:

• Full-time, employed position
• Hospital privileges
• US vascular neurology fellowship or vast experience in vascular neurology is required
• Academic appointment at the rank of Assistant, Associate or Professor
• Established clinical neuroscience team of 10 neurosurgeons, including dual-trained cerebrovascular specialists and 20 + neurologists including an interventional neurologist, 4 vascular neurologists, 4 neurointensivists and 13 subspecialty neurologists
• Subspecialties include pediatric neurology, epilepsy, movement disorders, headache, neuromuscular, sleep medicine, intraoperative monitoring and neuro-oncology
• Large team of inpatient and outpatient Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants
• 7 on/7 off or 14on/ 14 off schedule with 12 hour shifts rotating days and nights
• No call
• Inpatient stroke shift is consult only with no admission or discharge responsibilities
• Outpatient opportunities available for interested applicants
• ACGME neurology residency recently approved and to start in 2025
• Strong investment in technology including Gamma Knife, NeuroBlate, and RAPID
