Pediatric Hospitalist Physician Locums Job West Louisiana We are seeking a Pediatric Hospitalist to provide locum coverage at a community hospital in West Louisiana. The facility currently has one Pediatric Hospitalist on staff who is covering all responsibilities, and they are in need of additional support for the remainder of the month and beyond. Position Highlights: Coverage Needs: Flexible weekend coverage up to 14 shifts per month Patient Volume: Very low; typically 1 2 new babies per day Responsibilities: Newborn rounding Occasional inpatient care (low census) Labor & Delivery coverage ED consults (phone only) Support: One Pediatric Hospitalist on staff EMR: Meditech Perks: Housing provided This is a great opportunity for a Pediatrician seeking a manageable workload and the chance to support a small but vital hospital team.
