Physician / California / Locum or Permanent / Gastroenterologist (GI) - SC Job

Work Dates Needed: 11/27-12/4, 12/4-12/11, 12/11-12/18, 12/18-12/25, 12/25-1/1/26 Preferred Schedule : 7am to 4pm with offsite call, and returning for emergencies only. Call consists of inpatient rounding and inpatient/outpatient procedures. There is APP assistance for rounding on the established patients and can assist with the new admits requiring consults. Worksite Setting: Level 1 trauma center: Hospital, Outpatient clinic & Free-standing GI center. total beds: 600. Scope of Work: Required Procedures: upper GI endoscopy with biopsy, Esophageal dilatation/manometry, manometry interpretation, small bowel biopsy, lower GI endoscopy, sigmoidoscopy, colonoscopy (w/ biopsy and w/ excision of poly). Preferred Proc: Upper GI endoscopy (foreign body removal, cautery vs laser, injections with varices, banding of varices, ERCP, EUS, liver biopsy, insertion/management of Sengstaken/Blakemore tube, Advanced endo. Licenses, Certifications, Requirements: BC, SC licensed, ACLS, BLS, DEA, min. 2 years of experience, will not accept any MP history or licensure issues, EMR: EPIC - must do training before they start virtually on Tuesdays before provider begins
