My client is an award winning Pension consultancy, and due to internal movement they currently seek an experienced Pension Scheme Accountant to join their Leeds practice:
- Preparing pension scheme trustee reports and statutory scheme accounts
- Reconciling investment transactions
- Calculation of accruals and prepayments
- Reconciliation of pension payroll, investments, contributions to accounting records
- Preparation of a trial balance
- Preparation of cash analysis for administration reports and FRS102
- Preparation of working papers and reconciliations for financial statements
- Liaising with auditors and investment managers
- Providing advice to the wider business regarding pension accounting queries
Applicants will have either passed or be on their way to securing ACA or ACCA etc and you must have had previous exposure to Pension Scheme / Fund accounting. Broad knowledge reconciliation, year end accounting practices etc is a pre-requisite along with excellent communication, numeracy skills and attention to detail.
