We are seeking a meticulous and proactive Payment Operations Specialist to join our dynamic finance team. This is a critical role that sits at the heart of our business, ensuring the smooth, accurate, and timely processing of all our financial transactions. You will be responsible for managing the end-to-end payment lifecycle, from initiation to reconciliation, and will play a key part in maintaining the integrity of our financial operations. This is a fully remote position, offering the flexibility to work from anywhere in the UK.

Payment Operations Specialist Key Responsibilities:

• Process a high volume of incoming and outgoing payments via various methods including bank transfers, card payments, and digital wallets.
• Accurately verify transaction details and customer information to prevent errors and mitigate fraud.
• Perform daily reconciliation of all processed transactions, promptly investigating and resolving any discrepancies.
• Monitor payment systems for any issues or delays and escalate them in a timely manner.
• Work closely with the customer support and finance teams to resolve payment-related queries from both clients and internal stakeholders.
• Assist in the development and implementation of more efficient payment processes and procedures.
• Ensure strict compliance with all relevant financial regulations and company policies, including KYC (Know Your Customer) and AML (Anti-Money Laundering) protocols.
• Maintain clear and accurate records of all operational activities for audit purposes.
