One of my local clients is seeking an experienced Painter/Decorator/Multitrade to join their housing maintenance team. This role will involve both routine and responsive works across council properties, with a focus on painting, decorating, and treating damp and mould issues.
Key Responsibilities

Carry out day-to-day painting and decorating works in council-owned properties.

Treat and resolve issues related to damp and mould.

Perform multitrade maintenance tasks where required.

Work in occupied and void properties, maintaining high standards of workmanship.

Ensure all work complies with health and safety and council policies.
Requirements
-
Proven experience as a painter/decorator and/or multitrade operative.

Knowledge and experience of damp and mould treatment.
-
Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
-
Full driving licence (desirable but not essential).
-
Experience in a social housing or council environment preferred.
