Outsourcing Assistant Location - Basingstoke, Hampshire - Salary: up to £30,000 per annum

Our Client are a leading firm based in Basingstoke, known for their commitment to excellence and professionalism. As an Outsourcing Assistant, you will play a vital role within their Outsourcing team, reporting to the Outsourcing Manager.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform bookkeeping for clients, including bank reconciliations, credit control, and more, using a variety of software such as Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage
- Handle month-end and year-end adjustments, including prepayments and accruals
- Prepare VAT returns to ensure compliance
- Assist clients promptly with their queries, offering expert guidance
Required Skills:
- Proficiency in Xero, Quickbooks, and Sage is advantageous
- Extensive experience in all areas of bookkeeping, including bank reconciliations, control accounts, journal entries, VAT returns, and PAYE
- A valid UK driving license is essential
Desired Skills:
- Previous employment in practices of similar size or experience in industry managing accounts/bookkeeping
- Strong computer literacy, particularly in spreadsheets, email, and Microsoft products
