Health care System seeks to add another full-time experienced Physician Assistant to their team. The Physician Assistant will support a Sports Fellowship trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This doctor performs the latest minimally invasive surgeries with a focus on shoulders and knees. Opportunity to provide sporting event coverage as well as work with athletes and weekend warriors. The group also has onsite Physical Therapy Center, ASC and full onsite diagnostics.
The position will consist of both the OR and the clinic. Responsibilities include: running clinics, office procedures, first assist, H&P s, writing scripts, rounds, consultation, fracture management and patient evaluation and education and reviewing lab results.
The Greenville, SC area is a great southern metro area that offers moderate cost of living, several colleges, strong local economy, museums and offers a great quality of life. The location also offers great all year-round outdoor lifestyle with lakes, lots of golf courses, fishing and access to Charlotte. Physician Assistants must have orthopedic experience.
Compensation: Very competitive plus bonus potential. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided including 401k profit sharing, health, dental, vacation etc.
