My client are a leading UAE business in the automotive industry. They are looking for an exceptional Operations Manager to join their growing team in Dubai.
Responsibilities- Sales-Procurement Alignment
- Consolidate sales forecasts from regional teams and translate them into purchase plans for optimal stock levels.
- Ensure procurement volumes match market demand patterns to avoid overstock and lost sales.
- Maintain real-time communication between sales teams and procurement to adapt quickly to demand fluctuations.
- Strategic Freight Sourcing Negotiations
- Identify and develop a global supplier base that offers competitive pricing, consistent quality, and flexible supply terms.
- Negotiate contracts, freight terms, and lead times to support sales seasonality and promotional activities.
- Introduce multi-supplier sourcing strategies to reduce dependency risks.
- Inventory & Demand Planning
- Implement advanced inventory forecasting tools to balance stock availability with cash flow efficiency.
- Reduce slow-moving inventory through sales-procurement coordination on clearance and repositioning plans.
- Maintain an optimal inventory turnover ratio without compromising customer service levels.
- Cross-Functional Leadership
- Lead cross-department planning sessions between Sales, Procurement, Logistics, and Finance.
- Coach teams on the importance of end-to-end commercial thinking - from supplier negotiation to customer pricing.
