As Operations Director, you will take full ownership of operational planning, resource management, and execution across all event phases. You'll lead cross-functional teams, manage complex vendor networks, ensure compliance with regulations, and keep delivery on time and within budget. This role demands a strategic thinker with hands-on operational expertise who thrives in high-pressure, high-profile event environments.

• Develop and implement comprehensive operations strategies and timelines for large-scale events.
• Lead cross-functional operational teams, ensuring alignment between production, logistics, technical, and creative departments.
• Oversee vendor selection, negotiations, and performance management to ensure contractual, quality, and timeline compliance.
• Manage large-scale site builds, logistics, transportation, crowd management, and health & safety protocols.
• Liaise with government authorities and stakeholders to ensure all permits, licenses, and compliance requirements are met.
• Control operational budgets, identify efficiencies, and manage cost reporting.
• Anticipate and resolve operational risks, adapting strategies to evolving event requirements.
• Ensure smooth event delivery and effective de-rig, including post-event operational review and legacy planning.

Bachelor's degree in Event Management, Business Administration, Operations Management, or related field.

10+ years of senior operations experience in large-scale live events, festivals, or complex multi-site projects.

Proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and large vendor networks in high-pressure environments.

Strong negotiation, budgeting, and contract management skills.

Expertise in event site planning, logistics flow, and safety compliance.

Excellent stakeholder and client management skills.

Previous leadership in both festival and multi-village operational environments.

Familiarity with UAE event regulations, government liaison, and permitting processes.

Experience in sustainability and legacy planning for event operations.
