Role Description
This vacancy is a predominately factory-based role, to support our Attleborough Fresh Meals Business realize their full potential, by deploying and embedding our Operational Excellence framework and standards. The role reports into our site-based Operational Excellence Coordinator (OEC) and this OPEX team will deliver collaborative improvements for the site, whilst demonstrating Lean and Continuous Improvement tools and techniques. This role requires someone who is self-motivated and has a can do attitude. You will have a good understanding of continuous process improvement and will have exemplary values and behaviours.

Key Accountabilities
  • Provide front-line support, coaching and rigor to our factory teams, to facilitate a Best Today, Better Tomorrow culture
  • Drive maturity against our established OPEX Standards
  • Actively identify improvement opportunities
  • Collaborate and drive reductions in waste
  • Drive delivery of opportunities to contribute to cost savings across all business areas
  • Maintain clear project plans and identify areas of risk
  • Drive efficiencies via Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) and the use of knowledge, facts, and data
  • Provide Gap-Up focus and prioritisation to site Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
  • Completion of projects within defined timeframes
  • Deputise in the absence of the Operational Excellence Coordinator
