Airservices Australia is seeking a visionary OneSKY Operations Director to drive the strategic transition to a harmonised civil-military air traffic management system.

Airservices Australia is a government-owned organisation responsible for the safe and efficient management of 11% of the world's airspace and provision of aviation rescue fire fighting services at Australia's busiest airports.

OneSKY is a joint initiative with the Department of Defence to deliver the next-generation Civil-Military Air Traffic Management System (CMATS). This program is a cornerstone of national aviation transformation, integrating systems and modernising operations across civil and military domains.

As the OneSKY Operations Director, you will lead the strategic and operational transformation of Australia's air traffic management system through the delivery of CMATS-a harmonised civil-military capability. This high-impact role involves overseeing transition readiness, driving organisational change, and ensuring safety and service continuity across Airservices and Defence. You'll work closely with senior stakeholders, manage complex governance frameworks, and foster a high-performing team to deliver one of the nation's most significant aviation programs.

• Lead the transition to CMATS and oversee sustainment program execution
• Establish governance frameworks and manage configuration controls
• Drive operational change and embed harmonised procedures
• Engage senior stakeholders across Airservices, Defence, and suppliers
• Foster a high-performing, resilient workforce through inclusive leadership
