Occupational Health and Safety Coordinator - Moore Park Golf

The Role

Moore Park Golf is on the lookout for aOccupational Health and Safety Coordinatorto ensures a safe and healthy work environment by developing, implementing, and monitoring safety programs that comply with local, state, and federal regulations.

• Key Responsibilities:
• Develop, implement, and review environmental health and occupational health and safety (OHS) plans.
• Prepare and execute strategies for the safe, economical, and appropriate disposal of commercial, industrial, medical, and household waste.
• Advise on and enforce relevant legislation, and lead prevention programs for:
• Identify workplace hazards and assess and control associated risks.
• Design and monitor programs to minimise pollution from chemical and physical hazards.
• Promote ergonomic principles by aligning furniture, equipment, and tasks with employee needs.
• Conduct workplace inspections and audits for compliance with health and safety legislation.
• Train staff in the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safe work procedures.
• Record and investigate incidents, injuries, and equipment damage; report on safety performance.
• Coordinate return-to-work programs for injured employees.
