Job Title: Qualified Nursery Practitioner

Location: Canterbury, UK

Salary: 10- 12 per hour (dependent on experience and qualifications)

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and passionate Qualified Nursery Practitioner to join our team at our prestigious nursery in Canterbury. If you have a genuine love for working with children and possess the necessary qualifications and experience, we want to hear from you!

Responsibilities:

  • Create a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for children in our care.
  • Develop and implement age-appropriate activities.
  • Promote and support the physical, emotional, and social development of each child.
  • Provide regular updates and feedback to parents/guardians on their child's progress.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure the smooth running of the nursery.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to the children's activities and progress.
  • Adhere to all relevant policies, procedures, and regulations, including health and safety guidelines.

Requirements:

  • Hold a recognized qualification in Early Childhood Education (e.g., CACHE Level 2/3, NVQ Level 2/3, or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a nursery setting is highly desirable.
  • Sound knowledge of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework.
  • Ability to engage and communicate effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • A positive and nurturing attitude towards children's well-being and development.
  • Demonstrated commitment to providing high-quality care and education for young children.
