The NSW Police Force Public Affairs Branch is in need of a media officer, to be based in Sydney.
Administration at Influencing 5 years ago
Responsibilities- Process media enquiries
- Prepare releases and ministerial announcements
- Help organise official activities that promote the Force's reputation
- Observe crime scenes to guide media personnel on-site progress of investigations
- Australian citizens or permanent residents (plus NZ citizens)
- Extensive experience in journalism/PR and issues management
- Capable of intra-state travel and to work long hours
- Must undergo full background and security clearance checks
The application packet can only be furnished via the I Work for NSW website. This will comprise a CV, a cover letter no more than two pages long, and two 300-word articles that separately answer two specific Target Questions.
