This role involves designing, implementing, monitoring and managing local and wide area networks to ensure maximum uptime and support for users. The Network Engineer will provide expertise on network infrastructure, troubleshoot complex issues, and collaborate with IT professionals to optimize performance and security.

• Design and implement new network solutions to enhance system performance.
• Install, configure, and support networking equipment such as switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Manage and maintain the organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal efficiency.
• Troubleshoot network issues and resolve them in a timely manner.
• Monitor network performance and adjust settings as necessary.
• Work collaboratively with other IT professionals to optimize the network environment.
• Conduct regular security assessments and recommend improvements.
• Keep documentation related to network configurations, operations, and problems updated.
• Implement security measures to protect sensitive data.
• Provide support and training for users on network resources and connectivity.
• Coordinate with vendors and third party providers to resolve complex network issues.
• Stay updated on new networking technology trends and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar networking role.
• In-depth understanding of networking protocols (i.e., TCP/IP, BGP, MPLS, OSPF).
• Hands on experience with network hardware including switches, routers, and firewalls.
• Experience with network diagnostic, monitoring, and analysis tools.
• Excellent problem solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in teams.
• Certification in CCNA, CCNP, or equivalent networking credentials is highly desirable.
