Come and join our Men's shed!
We are seeking volunteers passionate to connect with Male Residents to create a Men's shed like gathering on site. If you have an interest in all things related to sports, gardening, barbecuing, getting outdoors for a walk, woodwork, mechanics, sitting to have a cuppa and a chat then this role is for you!
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.

The commitment is one hour per weekly/fortnightly for a minimum of 6 months. We would be delighted to talk with you about a suitable day and time during the week (Monday to Friday) between 9am-4pm.
