The roleThis role supports parents during Department for Child Protection (DCP) meetings by attending alongside them, taking clear notes, and helping them understand decisions and processes. Volunteers provide reassurance and practical guidance, ensuring parents feel informed and supported throughout. Ideal for consistent volunteers who can build familiarity with DCP structures and offer reliable, ongoing assistance to families navigating complex systems with a trauma informed approach.
Need to knowKnowledge of DCP processes, note-taking, clear communication, and structured advocacy basics.
