Location: Chelmsford, Essex
Salary: Negotiable (depending on experience)
Job Type: Full-time, Permanent
Join a global engineering company developing technology for the Aerospace, Defence, Space, Industrial, Medical, and Scientific sectors. As a Mechanical Production Engineer, you'll improve manufacturing processes, drive efficiency, and maintain top-quality standards across production.
Key Responsibilities:
Optimise manufacturing processes and improve production efficiency
Ensure quality standards are met across all products
Perform root cause analysis and implement corrective actions
Support manufacturing teams and troubleshoot production issues
Maintain process documentation and quality procedures
Drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering (preferred)
Proven experience in production/manufacturing engineering
Knowledge of process optimisation, Six Sigma, or 8D
Strong problem-solving and teamwork skills
Candidates must hold a British passport
Benefits:
Hours: Mon-Thurs 8:30-5:00, Fri 8:30-4:30
