Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Job PurposePerform mechanical maintenance tasks on safety and non safety related systems, structures and components such as pumps, valves, HVAC, chillers, heat exchangers and EDG to maintain high equipment reliability and performance.
Key Responsibilities- Execute planned and corrective mechanical maintenance activities with quality and safety to achieve operational readiness.
- Conduct surveillance and periodic tests to confirm plant performance and identify deficiencies.
- Prepare and stage maintenance work, including procurement requests for spare parts and special tools.
- Attend pre and post job briefings and oversee maintenance teams to ensure alignment with maintenance standards.
- Document equipment history reports and update equipment and material master data in the material management system.
- Adhere to Maintenance Code of Conduct procedures and guidelines for plant safety and reliability.
- Support outage and emergency response organization (ERO), including shift work/off hour support.
- Contribute to operational planning by providing input into work instructions and continuous improvement opportunities.
- High School diploma.
- 2 years of relevant experience.
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Equivalent.
- 3 years of nuclear power plant operating experience, including 1 year in the mechanical field.
