location: Rahway, NJ or Millsboro DE

Duration: 12 months position with possibility of extension.

(1/2 days per week onsite either at Rahway NJ or Millsboro, DE site)

This role requires coordination of master data projects, workload & stakeholder management.

As the Material Master Data Coordinator, you will be part of the team that is responsible to set up, maintain and phase out material master data in SAP throughout the lifecycle of a product to support the following key processes globally:

Rapid new product launches

Compliant product changes and artwork changes

Accurate phase out of products.

Maintaining SAP material master data is a complex task that requires a good understanding of SAP and other IT applications, the specifics of our products, the launch process, the (artwork) change process, the phase-out process, our facilities, and Production in a GMP environment.



Reporting to the Manager Material Master Data team you will be responsible for:

Manage and prepare incoming Master Data requests for the setup of finished product packed for new materials as well as product changes in MDG and SAP

Coordinate setup related master data elements like bill of materials and production versions (and connection of artwork) in SAP

Enable the team to handle requests in an effective and compliant manner. This includes the preparation of all relevant data elements.

Prioritize requests for material setup & change based on parameters that are aligned with all business stakeholders (value, planned launch date, complexity, etc)

Act as the first point of contact for business inquiries about master data, ensuring effective request resolution and excellent communication.

Coordinate process changes to products through the life cycle - from setup to phase out.

Manage the finished product master data setup process and any incoming queries related to material master data globally.

Set up guidelines for team & stakeholders to successfully support projects according to deadlines and regulatory / compliance requirements.

Shorten the time to market by planning and coordinating the workload of the team.

Communicate internally and externally about the achievement of deadlines and target dates.

Collecting and preparing all necessary information for the preparation of new product/market master data, such as cost and transfer prices, regulatory presentation/characteristics, production site-specific information.

Qualifications

Education and Experience:

High School Diploma with 5 years of relevant experience/Associate degree with 4years of relevant experience/Bachelor's degree with 3years of relevant experience in master data and SAP.

You have experience with complex administrative work.

You have functional experience working with SAP ECC and MDG

You are the face of the department, acting as channel of communication for our stakeholders.

You possess outstanding planning & coordination skills and are able to motivate others.

You have a strong understanding of procedures for the consistent, enterprise-wide use and control of this data.

You have an excellent level of English (verbal and written)

Outstanding communication and networking skills are required.

You have an eye for detail such that all data is compliant with company procedures and GMP standards.

You can think in processes, and you encourage and coach team members to come up with ideas to improve processes and implement those as well.

You drive data quality improvements.

You have relevant work experience.

You are a team player.

You drive outstanding customer focus .
