Located less than 50 minutes from Dubai International Airport, this integrated resort offering 1,530 rooms and suites, 22 restaurants and lounges, a theatre, nightclub, and five-star spa is currently under construction on a picturesque island that gracefully curves into the Arabian Gulf.
About The Position
The Manager - Uniform Control is responsible for overseeing the procurement, distribution, inventory, and maintenance of staff uniforms. This role ensures that all employees are properly attired according to company standards and that uniform logistics are managed efficiently and cost-effectively.
Uniform Inventory Management
The primary duties and responsibilities of this role are:
- Maintain accurate records of uniform stock levels
- Monitor issuance and returns of uniforms across departments
- Coordinate with suppliers for timely procurement of uniforms
- Ensure quality, consistency, and cost-effectiveness in uniform materials
- Organize uniform fittings and distributions for new and existing staff
- Ensure proper sizing and comfort for all employees
- Implement procedures for uniform cleaning, repairs, and replacements
- Schedule regular inspections to ensure uniforms are in good condition
- Manage uniform-related budgets and expenditures
- Prepare reports on usage, losses, and procurement cycles
- Enforce uniform policies and standards across departments
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and branding guidelines
The ideal candidate for this position will have the following experience and qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Supply Chain Management, or related field
- 3-5 years of experience in inventory or uniform management
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Office
- Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks
