The Valuations Manager / Senior Manager will lead the valuation and financial modelling activities across the Group's investment portfolio, ensuring accurate, transparent, and timely fair value assessments in line with Group policies. The role provides strategic analytical support to portfolio management, finance, and strategy teams, informing critical decisions on capital allocation, performance measurement, and Total Shareholder Return (TSR). Acting as a technical expert and governance anchor, the incumbent will ensure consistency, rigor, and integrity in all valuation and value reporting practices across the Group's investments.
Core ResponsibilitiesLead and execute comprehensive valuations of portfolio companies, new investments, and divestments using DCF, market comparables, precedent transactions, and NAV-based methodologies.
Develop and maintain robust financial models to support fair value estimation, sensitivity analysis, and TSR calculations.
Manage the Group's periodic valuation cycle, ensuring methodological consistency, proper documentation, and audit readiness.
Contribute to the enhancement of Group-wide valuation frameworks, governance procedures, and policy standards.
Provide analytical insights on value creation, performance attribution, and TSR trends to senior management and relevant committees.
Collaborate with Portfolio Management, Strategy, and Finance teams to integrate valuation perspectives into deal assessments, capital allocation, and performance reporting.
Track market dynamics, sector benchmarks, and macroeconomic factors impacting portfolio valuations.
Prepare concise valuation reports, summaries, and presentations for senior management and the Board.
Requirements EducationMBA or master's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related discipline from a recognized institution.
Professional QualificationsProfessional designations such as CFA, CPA, ACA, or AVA (Accredited Valuation Analyst) are highly desirable.
Experience8-15 years of progressive experience in valuation, transaction advisory, or corporate finance.
Prior experience within a sovereign wealth fund, investment holding group, or a leading advisory firm (e.g., Kroll, Big Four, or global investment bank).
Technical SkillsAdvanced proficiency in financial modelling and fair value estimation techniques.
Strong understanding of TSR frameworks, performance analytics, and value drivers across sectors.
Personal AttributesExceptional analytical, presentation, and report-writing skills, with the ability to communicate complex concepts to non-technical audiences.
Professional integrity, discretion, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to operate effectively in a complex, multi-entity environment.
